The Sushi here was delicious, ambience resplendent and service great! We went to the Canary Wharf one in London after a long day out and it was a perfect end to our day. Could be a bit pricey depending on your budget. Good place for a sushi night out though. I loved the words on the t-shirts worn by the staff.
We went for the Mixed Emotion Set @ £21, Crispy Ebi Roll (8pcs) @ £8.50, The California Roll (8pcs) @ £8, the Crunchy Chicken (6pcs) @ £8 and had the Yakitori Supearibu Ribs @ £9.50 from their Yakitori grill. I was very hungry and ate my portions all up before remembering to take pictures of the beauties. So the pictures below have come off their website…hahaha!
The explosion of flavours in the california roll was divine! Best one that evening.
This was less for more at 6pcs @ £8 and for me the most boring roll.
This was nice…just nice in my opinion…May be not spicy enough for me? May be a little too sweet? Was nice…Noticed when I walked in the restaurant it had some Scandinavian connections as most of the staff wore t-shirts with what I presumed were Norwegian words i.e; Frokost.
On asking our waiter she said it was not Norwegian but Danish (close enough). She also told us the restaurant started in Copenhagen and is owned by a Dane with a Japanese mother. It is one of the leading Japanese cuisine restaurants in the Nordic regions and I can see why… The sushi was delicious and tasted very fresh and juicy.
Yum in my tum! They have several outlets all over London….get more information on their website…May be I’ll visit the original one in Copenhagen one day…
