Spent my weekend on a group cabin trip to the mountains…Specifically Monsetertoppen in Hafjell… The nature up there was breathtaking. Freezing temperatures but beautiful snow capped views and a pleasant group made it all worth it… Did not attempt skiing or snow boarding though…I wasn’t reaaaaddyyyy (financially too, haha), went for short hikes with plans in my head for snowboarding the next time I go up there! Going on cabin trips to the mountains also known as ‘Hyttetur’ in norwegian is a…

Fortnum & Mason ‘s Stem Ginger Picaddilly Biscuits… tried them for the first time courtesy my big cousin…Got hooked and got my sisters hooked on it even more. So last week my sister asked me to get some for her and I decided to go to their actual store at 181 Piccadilly. Prior to that day I had only bought them at the airport. The store is one of the prettiest shops I have been to in my life! I went in…

Always wanted to go for Cabaret so I jumped at the opportunity for £10.00 to see the world premiere for The Raunch at London Wonderground. I mean it was one of the headline shows so I thought to myself it must be very good right?… After watching this performance I had to pop Cabaret (and other things) into google just to be very sure about the mash up I had just seen.   So to gist you the summary of what I…

Throwback to Edingburgh….

24/11/2015

Made the trip down in 2012 and I cannot wait to visit Scotland again. I often say to my Fiancé I will love to retire in a small village in Scotland… I think he still thinks I am kidding, guess i have a lot of work to do to turn that joke to reality. I found Scots a charming and fun people… Something about Edinburgh was enchanting, perhaps it was the numerous castles, nature or cultural history. Edinburgh took its place…

Sharing some pictures from my brief trip to Stavanger and it’s port! Getting ready to board from Oslo Lufthavn….Norwegian is the only airline I have flown that has wi-fi on board by the way.Our landing was a bit bumpy thanks to the wind but the coastal view was priceless and has stayed with me since.. What I loved the most about Stavanger were its small cobbled stoned streets and houses…it reminded me a lot of Edinburgh…another one of my favourite…

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Found some pictures from one time we stayed on the East End of London and thought to share parts of our experience… So In the summer of 2013 we booked a room for a week on AirBnB  around the Whitechapel/Shoreditch area. When we arrived we were surprised at the how multicultural the area was. We had read about the area, but the articles we read did not do it justice. After settling down we decided to take a walk to get familiar…

Visited Re.Le Art Gallery over the weekend. It opened its doors in February 2015 on the Lagos Island…sitting precisely on 5 Military Street Onikan. On exhibition was; Interactions: Crossing Lines featuring works by Soji Adesina and Uthman Wahab. Keeping to its theme the art on the display crossed the lines from the canvas and interacted with its surrounding walls. Was mostly drawn to The Coffee and Cigarettes Series by Soji Adesina His body of work touched on bits of Cultural Imperialism; according to the artist drinking…
