Went to the theatre to see The Maids in May. My cousin had mentioned it to me and as usual curiosity dragged me with her! haha. The theatre was The Trafalgar Studios around Charing Cross… Very small but cozy/intimate hall, the stage was in the centre and it had seatings on both sides of it… I loved it!Was stoked to find out Uzo Aduba (Crazy Eyes on Orange Is The New Black) and Laura Carmichael (Lady Edith on Downton Abbey) were…

Went Polo last weekend and it was such fun!!! Much different fun from Ascot. I think for one the crowd is much more youthful and relaxed at Polo. My first time going for Polo in The Park and it was much more fun than all my previous outings to Polo. I absolutely loved it and would recommend it as a fun day out to anyone planning to summer in London… White was a no brainer choice for me to Polo.…

Always wanted to go for Cabaret so I jumped at the opportunity for £10.00 to see the world premiere for The Raunch at London Wonderground. I mean it was one of the headline shows so I thought to myself it must be very good right?… After watching this performance I had to pop Cabaret (and other things) into google just to be very sure about the mash up I had just seen.   So to gist you the summary of what I…

Nah I wasn’t on a real aircraft or have gone to aviation school..hahaha!….Walked pass the Emirates Aviation Centre in Greenwich every week so far. Always thought it was just about their cable cars (as per ‘busy walker’). This week I found out they had an experience centre too. The entrance fee was a fiver…I was in like….. For £5 you get to see what happens behind the scenes (on an impressive large video wall) between the moment a flight lands and when it…

21/05/2016

If you are in London over the summer and love cabaret and the circus then make sure you check out London Wonderground. There are over 20 shows on!!! Ranging from burlesque to cabaret and circus and the tickets are not too expensive i opine. The ambience was electric and colourful…the energy there was great and positive! I especially liked it cause the crowd there was not soooo ‘uppity artsy party’. *rolls eyes* And if you are not interested in seeing a performance…

Some times unplanned trips are the best! So I decided to go watch and bet on horse racing at Ascot with a small party and also for my dear friends 30th birthday last weekend! It was the Victoria’s Cup and second and last race for May. Next races will be at the Royal Ascot i believe. I’ve always fancied the thought of me at Ascot…Hello, Pip Pip Cheerio, I’m all posh now…hahahah! So it was a no brainer that I…

Throwback to Edingburgh….

24/11/2015

Made the trip down in 2012 and I cannot wait to visit Scotland again. I often say to my Fiancé I will love to retire in a small village in Scotland… I think he still thinks I am kidding, guess i have a lot of work to do to turn that joke to reality. I found Scots a charming and fun people… Something about Edinburgh was enchanting, perhaps it was the numerous castles, nature or cultural history. Edinburgh took its place…
